synopsis

 

Philipp Safronov is a farmer, but his peaceful existence is violently interrupted whenamysteriousgroupof people seizes his land to exploit its oil resources. Safronov organizes a gang of tough farmers. One by one they hunt down the offenders, propelling them towards an explosive final confrontation. The film’s stark black and white images give it the hard edge of a classic “film noir”.
